During an apt-get update;apt-get upgrade cycle this evening,
libc6_2.3.1-17.0.1_powerpc.deb would not install. It dies during the
"unpack" phase:

dpkg -i libc6_2.3.1-17.0.1_powerpc.deb
(Reading database ... 136864 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to replace libc6 2.3.1-17 (using
libc6_2.3.1-17.0.1_powerpc.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement libc6 ...
dpkg: error processing libc6_2.3.1-17.0.1_powerpc.deb (--install):
dpkg: warning - old post-removal script killed by signal (Segmentation
  fault)

dpkg: error while cleaning up:
subprocess pre-installation script killed by signal (Segmentation
      fault)

I reverted to 2.3.1-17 and have temporarily pinned at that version

I installed 2.3.2-3 on my powerpc and did not experience any segfaults,
so I am assuming this bug is fixed. Please reopen the report if you
continue to have problems.
