I don't know if this bug is the same as my ssh problem, but the ssh problem was reported in one of the now closed reports on 2.3.2. I have problem testing this, as the computer with problem running sshd is at home, and I can't log in to it from work (where I am now) due to the ssh-problem. And when I am at home is ssh to localhost working (and I haven't any other computer up and running at home). I will start sshd with the -ddd flag when I arrive home this evening, but then I can't test it myself until Monday at from work and then examine the output on Monday evening. I might be able to test it at work, with another Debian-testing computer, but it is a compute-server running several hardware development tools so I must check first... Any other idea on how to debug this? However I can give you this: sid:~> ssh -v bostrom.dyndns.org OpenSSH_3.6.1p2 Debian 1:3.6.1p2-3, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL 0x0090702f debug1: Reading configuration data /etc/ssh/ssh_config debug1: Rhosts Authentication disabled, originating port will not be trusted. debug1: Connecting to bostrom.dyndns.org [217.215.30.63] port 22. debug1: Connection established. debug1: identity file /home/anders/.ssh/identity type -1 debug1: identity file /home/anders/.ssh/id_rsa type -1 debug1: identity file /home/anders/.ssh/id_dsa type -1 debug1: Remote protocol version 1.99, remote software version OpenSSH_3.6.1p2 Debian 1:3.6.1p2-3 debug1: match: OpenSSH_3.6.1p2 Debian 1:3.6.1p2-3 pat OpenSSH* debug1: Enabling compatibility mode for protocol 2.0 debug1: Local version string SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_3.6.1p2 Debian 1:3.6.1p2-3 debug1: SSH2_MSG_KEXINIT sent debug1: SSH2_MSG_KEXINIT received debug1: kex: server->client aes128-cbc hmac-md5 none debug1: kex: client->server aes128-cbc hmac-md5 none debug1: SSH2_MSG_KEX_DH_GEX_REQUEST sent debug1: expecting SSH2_MSG_KEX_DH_GEX_GROUP debug1: SSH2_MSG_KEX_DH_GEX_INIT sent debug1: expecting SSH2_MSG_KEX_DH_GEX_REPLY debug1: Host 'bostrom.dyndns.org' is known and matches the RSA host key. debug1: Found key in /home/anders/.ssh/known_hosts:18 debug1: ssh_rsa_verify: signature correct debug1: SSH2_MSG_NEWKEYS sent debug1: expecting SSH2_MSG_NEWKEYS debug1: SSH2_MSG_NEWKEYS received debug1: SSH2_MSG_SERVICE_REQUEST sent debug1: SSH2_MSG_SERVICE_ACCEPT received And then it just hangs. Same result with 2.3.2-4 . 2.3.1-16 works fine. / Anders -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
