Please excuse my ignorance, but how do I install this update? I can't install or remove anything using apt-get due to libc6 failing on the ldconfig fault. Do I just need to do apt-get update & dist-upgrade but first modify the sources.list to pick the new files up?
Do I just download the deb file and run dpkg -i debfile? Which deb file do I need to download and where would it be located? uname -a Linux ..... 2.2.20-idepci #1 Sat Apr 20 12:45:19 EST 2002 i686 GNU/Linux Cheers. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Debian Bug Tracking System" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "debbugreport" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, November 05, 2003 6:35 PM Subject: Bug#219025 acknowledged by developer (Bug#219025: fixed in glibc 2.3.2.ds1-10) > This is an automatic notification regarding your Bug report > #219025: libc6 upgrade broke ldconfig, > which was filed against the libc6 package. > > It has been closed by one of the developers, namely > Jeff Bailey <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. > > Their explanation is attached below.
