Hi, I propose a new version of /etc/init.d/mountkernfs in order to support shmfs|tmpfs|ramfs. I'm not sure that it corrects the problem in all cases, but it works at least for me with kernel 2.4.25 (CONFIG_RAMFS=y and CONFIG_TMPFS is not set). Best.
