And filtered ldap queries ? eg. :

, in /etc/ldap/ldap.conf)
I can even use john the ripper now.
Btw i d be glad if nscd or slapd could have a workaround to avoid this "infinite" loop
... maybe a default safe mimit setting on simultaneous ldap queries ?
