Yes, this app supports v4l2(Present in both 2.4 and 2.6) and v4l(1).  Also
read one of Linus's rants about backwards compatible kernels, I.E.
"Upgrading the kernel should NEVER break any existing software."  I would
assume the same goes for headers, feal free to find out and let me know.
