I've tried valgrind on atftpd but it did not give me interesting information about the segfault (and atftpd does not segfault anymore when it's run under valgrind !).
I tried ccmalloc and it found an underwrite problem: *** can not free non valid data at 0x40304055 *** (perhaps an `under'write occured)
It won't be easy to spot an under-write...(AFAIK much less than a double free). If you have pointers on how to debug this...
So, I reassign this libc6 bug to atftpd.
