Package: libc6 Version: 2.1.2-9 Joel, after a recent apt-get upgrade, everything that referenced time printed out /etc/localtime in place of the timezone I live in -- running tzconfig fixed it, but I think not everyone will figure it out, and if a message was printed during the postinst script, then you might want to move to debconf and set the severity a bit high, so people know to deal with it, rather than silently (to the user) break.
