On my system, % mount | grep devpts /devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,gid=5,mode=620) % Note the initial /. Shouldn't the devpts_mounted check in devpts.sh be '^/devpts'? If I make this change myself, everything seems to work correctly.
