Severity: wishlist Package: locales the locales package is too big for the potato base_2_2.tgz. 13mb is a lot as at that point in time (fresh installed debian - first boot) noone seems to care about locales.
A tiny-locales package which will contain only the C locale should be better and much smaller (locales has 13mb) I tried to install a minimal potato on a 48Mb partition and failed - base.tgz didn't had enough space to expand.
