In the light of recent problems concerning the security update to glibc: one of the reasons that the update took so long was the rebuilding of glibc on the mk86 architecture.
Would it be possible to use a cross-compiler for mk86 so the rebuild would go faster? Just my 2c. Dennis van Dok -- My compiler is very cross.
