The iconv code has had alot of work done to it since this bug was published, including the note:
* iconv (the program) does now conform to the upcoming XPG6 and handles charmaps. Instead of the charset names the path of charmaps can be provided and the conversion happens based on this data. Contributed by Ulrich Drepper. Please provide a testcase to show that this bug still occurs.
