I did run set-language-env selected
German .. Switzerland .. EuroSupport
Then I followed the advise
Install the following locales.
(Edit /etc/locale.gen and invoke locale-gen)
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ("[EMAIL PROTECTED] ISO-8859-15" in /etc/locale.gen)
While running sudo locale-gen I got the following output
