Package: libc6-sparc64 Version: 2.2.5-11.5 Severity: important Tags: woody
The official upgrade from version 2.2.5-11.2 to 2.2.5-11.5 (as suggested by "DSA-282-1 glibc -- integer overflow" from 09 Apr 2003) fails to install if any package related to gcc-3.0 is installed. Unfortunately, these packages are required by libc6-sparc64's own development package (libc6-dev-sparc64). Messages while performing the usual "apt-get update/upgrade -u": Reading Package Lists... Going back to version 2.2.5-11.2 also works, but leaves the system vulnerable. Regards, Ingo
