I'll try and post restults about this. Anyway you can make a quick
rebuild in static mode, after normail install into debian/stuff and
then install only missing .a files, libc.a is unusable also making
bootdisk with busybox.
While we could do this just for the udeb, I too am reluctant. Why do you not just include the shared NSS components? That should be about the same size as you're going to bloat libc.a anyway.
