We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of glibc, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive:
There still seems to be something broken; with my lwres configuration if I try to start nfs-user-server, I get the following in syslog:
Sep 26 01:25:42 phobos mountd[374]: Ack! Gack! svc_run returned!
Sep 26 01:25:42 phobos nfsd[372]: Oh no Mr. Bill... nfs_server() returned!
(Both mountd and nfsd die.)
Without the lwres configuration, or with a prior libc6, the services run fine.
