Package: locales Version: 2.3.2.ds1-13 this is more likely an X bug to be honest, but it is such a large package i do not know where to report the bug... and it is locale specific, so please pass this on if it is a responsibility of X
like the title says: there is no alias for en_GB.ISO-8859-15 and en_GB.iso885915... and there should be. the locales package creates locales by the name of en_GB.ISO-8859-15, yet X does not understand this and therefore getting any extended character (such as �) is impossible in most X applications (gtk+2 seems ok.. but complains that the locale is not supported).
