Followup-For: Bug #327208 Package: glibc Hello,
If you disagree with adding information about this problem in the NEWS.Debian file, maybe the line for glibc23-ctype-compat could be at the right place in the file 00list. At its current place, recompiling glibc will fail because patches after this patch are not applied (don't know why). When the patch is placed at the final line of 00list, the recompilation works. Here is a possible patch for this: --- glibc-2.3.5/debian/patches/00list +++ glibc-2.3.5/debian/patches/00list @@ -20,7 +20,6 @@ powerpc-sysconf arm-no-hwcap librt-mips -#glibc23-ctype-compat # g: untilsarge glibc23-hppa-Rminkernel #glibc23-function-compat # g: untilsarge #glibc23-errno # g: untilsarge @@ -87,0 +87 @@ +#glibc23-ctype-compat # g: untilsarge Fred -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.13.1 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
