Thank you for the update of tzdata for Debian Etch in debian-volatile. I have installed this on several machines and it does fix the problem. However there is no fix for Debian Sarge available. The tzdata update is not appropriate (since the time zone data in Sarge is in the base libc6 package), and there is no libc6 update. But I see that this bug on Debian Sarge (#433870) has been closed by the Etch update due to being merged with the Etch bug report (#433869). Will there be an update issued for Debian Sarge to libc6 with the 2007f timezone data? Or does the fact that the Debian Sarge bug was closed without any separate explanation mean that this bug will not be fixed in Debian Sarge?
