Package: libc6
Version: 2.6.1-3
Severity: important
--- Please enter the report below this line. ---
Today, I tried to upgrade my system using apt-get upgrade.
I got this error message.
Setting up libc6 (2.6.1-3) ...
dpkg: error processing libc6 (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script killed by signal (Segmentation fault)
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of libc6-dev:
libc6-dev depends on libc6 (= 2.6.1-3); however:
Package libc6 is not configured yet.
dpkg: error processing libc6-dev (--configure):
dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
Errors were encountered while processing:
libc6
libc6-dev
I solved the problem by first removing libc6-i686, then upgrade libc6 and then
reinstall libc6-i686.
Hope this help.
Thanks for your work
