I just wanted to confirm. I am having the same
problem with libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13etch5. I cannot
upgrade to sid cleanly.
I worked around this problem by upgrading libc6
to lenny's version first and then to sid's.
I hope that this bug gets fixed soon.
