Package: nscd Version: 2.3.6.ds1-13etch10 Severity: important
Applying security updates for DSA=1973-1 (gblic), I noticed nscd marked as held. If I force an install, aptitude wants to install libc6-amd64 as well. I've checked /var/lib/apt/lists/security.debian.org_dists_etch_updates_main_binary-i386_Packages and confirmed that the dependency exists there as well. The rest of the package updates related the the DSA went through, as evidenced by the libc6 version in System Information below. Thanks, Sheldon. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.24-etchnhalf.1-686-bigmem Locale: LANG=en_US.ISO-8859-15, LC_CTYPE=en_US.ISO-8859-15 (charmap=ISO-8859-15) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages nscd depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13etch10 GNU C Library: Shared libraries nscd recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-glibc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
