Salut! I have spent/am still spending quite some time with the GNU/Hurd-port of glibc. So once the day comes that Debian updates to the next upstream release, please tell me, and we should be able to use a bunch of my patches, and save you the work of re-inventing them. I will also try to begin submitting them upstream.
