There's already a series of this package in Debian:

golang-gopkg-dancannon-gorethink.v2-dev/unstable 2.0.4-1.1 all
golang-gopkg-gorethink-gorethink.v3-dev/unstable 3.0.5-1.1 all
The v6 is simply the latest version and it's needed to update the notary
package, which is also a build-dep of docker.io.
