I'm not sure about the utility in removing working package definitions from Salsa only because they are not needed right now... not certain that is the case here, but doesn't seem unlikely. I've gone through the trouble of packaging some upstream library only to later realize it may not be needed, but I tend to let them just stay on Salsa, and I've more than once found this useful because some other package later on actually needed the library... /Simon
