Oh, I really don't know about this service. I got introduced with the
packaging of golang on this page - https://go-team.pages.debian.net. I
didn't find any mention of flight-deck there.
Thanks, I'm aware now! I would appreciate it if you could share other sites
related to golang packaging that I might miss.

This is my first time doing packaging. I have a mentor, but he is not an
official debian developer, but just a very experienced guy in debian
distribution.
I will ask him to help review my results before applying for sponsorship,
and we will discuss my next steps.

I almost forgot.. After creating a bunch of ITP to missing dependencies and
doing other unusual (for the first time) actions, I missed a small but
important step.
