Hi Mathias,

thanks for the offer, much appreciated. I'll review my current progress
and clean up my repository a bit, so I can push it to salsa.

I won't be at DebConf, and am short on time during that period, so there
are probably not much opportunities to work together. But maybe you can
take a look at the code which I've got so far and help improve it. From
my last test, only some small issues seem to remain before we could
switch to GO111MODULE=on.

However, there are quite a few packages which FTBFS with the new
approach. Most of them are rather ancient, sometimes without a go.mod
file at all. I'm not sure yet how to handle those cases.
