Hi,
It's been years that I've been providing the team with a decent VM as a
gitlab runner for the team. But nobody is taking care of it. I have no
time to invest in this myself.
It's been at least 3 years that I've been saying the VM should *NOT* use
apt-cacher-ng, which fills-up the system disk, and as we have
mirror.infomaniak.com on the same data center.
For the Nth time, today, the VM failed, with disk full. I had to make
some space. I've aggressively rm -rf /var/cache/apt-cacher-ng/* and
whatever was in /var/lib/SOMETHING/snapshot/*, which is probably the
thing that broke the setup.
At this point, I'm tired of the situation. Either someone takes care of
it, either I just wipe it away, and the team find another sponsor. In
its current form, with nobody caring, and zero monitoring, it's taking
too much of my energy.
Note that I can also wipe it out (ie: "openstack server rebuild") and
someone REALLY takes over the maintenance by re-doing the setup from
scratch.
