Recognisers cover the single-byte ISO-8859 and windows-125x families, UTF-8, UTF-16/32 with and without BOM, ISO-2022, and the CJK multi-byte encodings Big5, GB18030, EUC-JP, EUC-KR and Shift_JIS. . This package is a build dependency of syft (ITP https://bugs.debian.org/1124819). I intend to maintain this package within the Debian Go Packaging Team.
