Hi Arthur, I hadn't, thank you -- that is exactly the missing piece. My account has Developer access through the group, which is enough to push but not to open the project's settings, so the CI configuration path was the one thing I couldn't set myself.
I'll log in to Flight Deck and import go-team/packages/slat. From what I read in the repository module, ci_config_path already defaults to debian/salsa-ci.yml, so the import alone should be enough, and the repository also picks up the standard branch protection, badges and webhooks in the process -- all of which it should have had anyway.
