* Package name    : golang-github-moby-ipvs
  Version         : 1.1.0 (upstream tag v1.1.0)
  Upstream Contact: Sebastiaan van Stijn <[email protected]>
* URL             : https://github.com/moby/ipvs
* License         : Apache-2.0
  Programming Lang: Go
  Description : Go library to manage Linux IPVS through netlink

 This package provides a native Go implementation for talking to the IP
 Virtual Server (IPVS) kernel module over a generic netlink socket. It can
 create, update, list and delete virtual services and their real-server
 destinations, and read and set the IPVS connection timeouts, optionally
 inside a given network namespace.
 .
 The Docker engine uses it for the load balancing of swarm services.

Binary package: golang-github-moby-ipvs-dev (import path github.com/moby/ipvs).

Why: docker.io 29.8.1 (in preparation; unstable has 28.5.2, work in
progress at https://salsa.debian.org/mendezr/docker/-/tree/wip/moby-v29)
imports it from engine/daemon/libnetwork/service_linux.go (engine/go.mod:
github.com/moby/ipvs v1.1.0). The docker.io update is needed by
github.com/anchore/stereoscope (ITP https://bugs.debian.org/1135909).

Today the same files are shipped inside golang-github-docker-docker-dev
28.5.2 (/usr/share/gocode/src/github.com/moby/ipvs), so the new binary
carries Replaces (and will need Breaks) on golang-github-docker-docker-dev
(<< 29.8.1+dfsg1-1~).

I intend to maintain this package within the Debian Go Packaging Team.
