Hello, golang-x-sys had a faulty ppc64el assembler [https://github.com/golang/go/issues/82324] causing PIE binaries built with version v0.49.0 to crash with SIGSEGV. - https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1151166 The issue has been patched in Debian, at version 0.49.0+dfsg-2. All packages built against golang-golang-x-sys-dev (>=0.49.0,<< 0.49.0+dfsg-2) may need to be rebuilt. build-rdeps found a total of 1398 reverse build-depend(s) for golang-golang-x-sys-dev in unstable/main and 1 reverse build-depend(s) in unstable/contrib. Find file attached. Testing might also be affected, since the faulty package is also found in testing, however affected packages may migrate after binNMU, I think this is a release team call on how they want to handle it. For the package rebuilt, do you agree to use binNMU, like: - wb nmu "${src} . ppc64el . unstable . -m 'Rebuild against golang-golang-x-sys-dev (>= 0.49.0+dfsg-2)'" using the package list in the attachment or can you think of any other better way? Is there a way to find out which packages were built against golang-golang-x-sys-dev (>=0.49.0,<< 0.49.0+dfsg-2)? Regards -- Héctor Orón -.. . -... .. .- -. -.. . ...- . .-.. --- .--. . .-.
