* Package name : bark-server Version : 2.3.9 Upstream Contact: Feng (Finb) <[email protected]> * URL : https://github.com/Finb/bark-server * License : MIT Programming Lang: Go Description : self-hosted push notification server for the Bark iOS app Bark is an iOS app that receives custom push notifications. bark-server is its self-hosted backend: it exposes an HTTP API, keeps registered devices and archived messages, and forwards notifications to Apple's Push Notification service (APNs). It is a small Go service built on Fiber and uses token-based (p8) authentication for APNs. By default it stores data in a bbolt file under a data directory; MySQL can be used instead by passing a DSN. There is no self-hosted Bark backend in Debian. The package needs a few Go libraries that are not in Debian yet: sideshow/apns2, mark3labs/mcp-go, lithammer/shortuuid, gofiber/adaptor and mritd/logger. I plan to package those first, and to maintain bark-server within the Debian Go Packaging Team.
