New function name? AFAIK, delete-empty-workspaces has always been the function that cleared the empty workspaces. It's the configuration variable delete-workspaces-when-empty that appears to no longer be honored. In particular there is no longer a sawfish-client apropos/describe definition for that variable. If I'm mistaken and the variable has simply been renamed, I'd be perfectly happy, but I can't see any reference to such a change.
