I encouter some serious problems here after upgraded my gnome2 install to a libgtk2png3 based. My .xinitrc is as follows : export WINDOW_MANAGER=metacity export GDK_USE_XFT=1 exec gnome-session The system complains about a missing file : gconf-sanity-check-2 (only gconf-sanity-check-1 is available in the gconf2 package). In addition, any Gnome2 apps takes several minutes to launch. What's the problem doc? How can I make it run better? Thx yk
