Yes, but not in this manner; this kind of forced recompile breaks things left and right as you can see from the current libgtk2.0-0png3 situation. I'm currently waiting a update from Junichi regarding the transition and a reply from listmaster regarding an announcement sent (twice) to d-d-a which never made it there. I'm not holding my breath for either of them. At least Junichi said he was discussing it with upstream. -- Marcelo
