to the best of my knowledge gdm2 is not in the main archive. binaries for powerpc or sources are apt-getable from bastien's apt archive. add the following lines to your sources.list file for the sources: deb-src http://files.hadess.net/ /debian/ or the following for powerpc binaries: deb http://files.hadess.net/ /debian/ see the apt-get(1) man page for information on downloading and building the packages. -- gram
