Hi, I'm still experiencing a problem with fonts when using Xinerama. What happens is that in alot of gnome2 apps, on my primary head the first letter from every word is missing, en on the secondary head the missing letters from the primary are sprinkled a bit everywhere.
This is visible in apps like the file list/desktop/... in Nautilus, in the treeview of gconf-editor, etc etc. It doesn't happen in most of the GTK2 widgets like menu's, buttons, .... Gnome1 apps like evolution are not affected either. - GDK_USE_XFT is set to "1" - hardware is a matrox G550 - xfree86 packages used are branden's 4.2.0-0pre1v3 Is this a problem with X, or with one of the Gnome2 libs? Anyone have a clue or even a workaround for this? Thanks, Mourad DC
