Which This hasn't been true since the last update to msttcorefonts. Now the /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TrueType dir doesn't contain any font files, but it keeps the fonts.scale and .dri files, which maybe is a bug (since there are fonts defined which don't actually exist). At least this is what I see here on my machine. The font files are now in /var/lib/defoma/blabla...
