Anything else you should delete. (IIRC, the exact file causing the issue
you describe is "applications.vfolder-info".)

Just to be extra-clear: my /etc/gnome-vfs-2.0/vfolders directory contains the following:


[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc/gnome-vfs-2.0/vfolders$ ls
applications-all-users.vfolder-info  server-settings.vfolder-info
applications.vfolder-info-default    start-here.vfolder-info
favorites.vfolder-info               system-settings.vfolder-info
preferences-all-users.vfolder-info

...which is precisely the list that you gave. This bug is being caused by something else...
