Hello, I am using gnome2 from experimental/unstable, and have the following problem with panel applets:
everything was working fine, then I logged out of gnome, and later back in and when the panel loaded, I got an error message for every applet in the panel saying: There was a problem loading applet 'OAFIID: GNOME_<appletName>' Details: Unknown CORBA exception id: 'IDL:omg.org/CORBA/INV_OBJREF:1.0' and all applets fail to appear. now, whenever I try to re-add any applet to the panel, I get the same error message. I am also receiving the same error message on startup described by christophe in reference to the gnome settings daemon being unable to start. any ideas? tahnks, -jOe __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
