Hi, For me removing all files older than the 5th September (date of the laste update) in "/etc/gnome-vfs-2.0/vfolders" solved the problem. The Preferences menu and all applications are here again. I guess this mess happened due to an update of the files in "/etc/gnome-vfs-2.0/vfolders", where old configuration files haven't been deleted and new configuration files, conflicting with the old) were added. -- Dominik 'Aeneas' Schnitzer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://www.schnitzer.at/dominik/ OpenPGP:C0C2CBEE Latest Update - 24.
