that means we would have to find a maintainer who is willing.
experimental isnt all to difficult. just be sure not to do:

 # apt-get upgrade -t experimental upgrade

as that might mess your system up.

you can do:

 $ grep-dctrl -s Package -F Depends libgtk2.0-0 [experimental Packages file]

to find all gtk2/gnome2 packages in experimental, then install those
doing:

 # apt-get -t experimental install [package-foo]

or do as colin suggests:

 $ apt-get -t experimental install gnome

no. garnome is a build system for gnome. you can find more info at
http://www.gnome.org/~jdub/garnome/.
