Hello, I am using gnome2 from experimental/unstable, and have the following problem with panel applets:
everything was working fine, then I logged out of gnome (not saving session), and later back in and when the panel loaded, I got an error message for every applet in the panel saying: There was a problem loading applet 'OAFIID: GNOME_<appletName>' Details: Unknown CORBA exception id: 'IDL:omg.org/CORBA/INV_OBJREF:1.0' and all applets fail to appear. now, whenever I try to re-add any applet to the panel, I get the same error message. I can fix the problem by hosing .gconf, .gconfd, and .gnome2, but this is not exaclty an acceptable solution, and the problem eventually comes back. any ideas? thanks, -Joe __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
