Well, that's not exactly true. We aren't interested in having the term "window manager" in the GUI (other than in a "power tweak" control panel that someone might write), but there is a plan for how it should be easy that should work with fvwm2 right now for example: $ fvwm2 -replace & $ gnome-session-save That's it. The problem is just that Sawfish doesn't have the -replace feature. -replace uses a standard mechanism defined in the ICCCM (WM_Sn selection). Havoc
