This might seem like a lame newbie question, but how should you install Gnome from the Debian distro CDs?
I have a mate who doesn't have net access, and so cant stick a FTP or HTTP source in sources.list, so needs another source. I realised I didn't know how Gnome Desktop was packaged (if at all) in Gnome. Cheers, Ben
