on a newly installed sid yesterday, I had a problem running gnome2, the session closed itself immediatly ! I finnaly started a xsession and tryed to launch gnome-panel : I just get a message saying he was unable to find any font !!
It was easilly solved running fc-cache, but it's quite annoying anyway.. On my own system I hadent' any similar problem even when switching to gtk2.2, exept for a self compiled abiword head which refuse to finish starting because he can't fin times new roman (whereas it exists : ooo and gnome2 apps can use it fine !) any hints ? -- aurelien
