I just tried that, and it doesn't seem to work. With a few exceptions (namely pictures and .desktop files) all of my files still have the same icon. I also tried recompiling nautilus and gnome-vfs, but to no avail. My version of nautilus is 2.2.0-2. The installed version of gnome-icon-theme is 1.0.0-1. Any other information I could supply to help fix the problem? M.
