Well, some I boycott :-), some I configure to use dot names, and the rest I simply put in a corner where I won't notice them. The only real annoyances left are #.bbdb# and #.newsrc.dribble# which keep coming and going. But I think it's just a question of time and perhaps bug reports to the relevant developers. And then someone should augment Nautilus with a list of ignored files for the home directory, somewhat like .cvsignore.
