Mmm, does flashplugin-nonfree need to be updated to get the new macromedia flash plugin ? just reinstaling still shows the problem.
Sorry, I sort of assumed that the flash bug you were referring to was the one where the web browser would freeze if you had sound playing: http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58339
... and this bug has been fixed in version 6 of the flash plugin. I'm not sure which version you have.
